PERSPECTIVE ON WHAT IS COMING NEXT

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE BLOG

What is the Grupo CSI blog about?
About financial regulation and risk applied to the day-to-day of a Mexican institution: regulatory compliance, digital fraud prevention, document digitization, identity and biometrics, and the RegTech trends that are changing how the sector operates. Every article starts from a real question asked by someone running a financial process and ends in something that can be applied.
How are the articles organized?
Into four topics: Regulation and compliance, Document digitization, Identity and biometrics, and RegTech trends. Each topic has its own address within the blog, so the view of a single topic can be bookmarked or shared instead of the full listing. An article can appear under more than one topic when it covers both.
How is a blog article different from a downloadable resource?
The article is read on the page and explains a topic. The resource is material to use —a guide, a checklist, a report— that is downloaded and worked on separately, and it lives in the Resources section. An article can carry its own downloadable material at the end, and then it is both.
Do I have to register to read an article?
No. Articles are freely accessible and free of charge. Details are only requested when an article carries downloadable material that asks for them, and that is visible before you press, not afterwards.
Do these articles replace regulatory advice?
No. They explain the context of a regulatory provision and how it is usually handled in practice, which is what helps you form a view before a meeting or a project. Interpreting a rule for a specific case depends on the entity type, the operation and the supervisor's criteria, and that conversation has to be had with the relevant legal or compliance team.
May I cite or share an article?
Yes. Every article has its own permanent address and can be linked from anywhere. To cite it in a document of your own, the right thing is to link to the original article instead of copying the full text.
